This installation is a collaboration between Canadian photographer, Kaid Ashton, and Filipino illustrator, Rem San Pedro. Ashton is the founder of an art outreach program called HOMESCHOOL, through which he shares his personal, joyful take on community spirit with street children from all over the world. As a part of this Bonifacio Global City public art installation, Kaid Ashton and Rem San Pendro taught five HOMESCHOOL classes to 250 children from Taguig, Pasay and Paranaque in December 2012. This piece is for all those children whom certain doors do not open, so that they might find this proverbial windows of opportunity instead.
